A little about Knight Surfboards.  I grew up surfing the cold, crisp waves of Northern California, particularly Santa Cruz.  I started shaping and glassing boards around 1965, first,  just for myself and then for friends.  In the late 60’s, early 70’s I built boards with the legendary Johnny Rice.  It was under his tutelage that I began to perfect my shaping skills. 
I have always built boards on a one-on-one basis, the more interaction with the surfer/customer the better the board.  As a result I hand shape all my boards from scratch, no machine pre-shaping.  I think it is a sad thing that we think of a surfboard as just another commodity and hence, the cheaper the better.  That has led to the influx of Chinese made boards that are NEVER touched by a skilled surfer/craftsman.
Every Knight surfboard is shaped by hand using only American made foam in Huntington Beach, CA. and glassed by an experienced craftsman using only quality American made materials.  We assure your complete satisfaction with your board or we will make you another one for free!
